Third Recount
"Ring!Ring!Ring!" went the bell. I moaned as i got ready for the next lesson, that is literature. I did not really like literature very much because I find it very boring. It was Thursday and we were told that in that week, there would be a fire drill exercise. I wished that it could be today. I waited and waited but the fire alarm just did not ring. I was disappointed that there was no fire drill because I have waited for 40 minutes. Out of the blue, the fire alarm sounded and I was elated. The class cheered as the fire alarm rang for about half a minute. We then advanced towards the field in an orderly manner through the the exit we were assigned to. When I arrived in the field, I looked at my watch and was shocked because it was already 12.55pm. There was only 10 minutes more to dismissal and we were still finding a place to sit in the field. It means that we will be dismissed late, but it does not really mattered to me afterall because I have CCA later. We waited patiently for dismissal and went back to class. I hope that next time when there is a fire drill, it will be before dismissal.
Second Recount
It is a bright and windy morning and we all on our way down to the side of the pond, near the library below the auditorium for our maths project, that is measuring the crest outside the auditorium. When we arrived there with measuring tapes, ropes, paper and our pencil cases in our hands, we met Ms Lim, our maths teacher. After a few minutes of briefing, we set off to work as we only have one period of maths on Wednesday. Me and my team, which consist of Calvin, Jonathan and Aik Leng, took pictures of the crest with a camera first. Then we thought of how we could find the scale of the picture. Calvin also tried his silly methods like trying to extend the measuring tape, that is ten metres long, to the top of the school crest. After a few failed attempts, Calvin decided to give up and think of other ideas. However, oe period of maths is ot long enough, so we decided to meet up after school to think of other ways. After the lesson, Ms Lim debriefed us and we went back to class.
First Recount
Today, I did my 2.4 kilometer run during PE lesson. After setting our targets during CE-TT on Monday, we changed into our PE shirt and advanced towards the PE corner. Our PE teacher, Mr Lee Boon Kee, briefed us on what we should do and where we should run. We then stood up and got ready to for the run. At the beggining, everyone was quite clustered together, but as we ran further, some of us just could not keep up with each other and was left behind. After the first lap, I tried my best to keep up with the rest but my legs just could not carry on. So I slowed down and took a rest while walking. After catching up with my breathe, I continued jogging at a slower pace as I was exhausted and not as energetic as when I just started. After I completed three laps around the school I was drained of my energy but I keep going on as there was only one more round to go. When I reached the finishing line, I was so tired that I laid flat on the floor although I knew that it would dirty my back. I finished the run and got 26th position. I knew I could improve further and I will work hard towards that goal.

Sob, sob, sob, the end-of-year holidays are over. I wished that this day would never come. Although I was sad, I felt quite excited too because I get to see my classmates again and i will be returning to school as a secondary two student.
When I first woke up on wednesday morning, I felt very tired as I had never woken up so early in the holidays. When I reached school, I took some time finding my new classroom because I have never been to class 2B before. By the time I found my way there, it was time for morning assembly. After morning assembly, we went back to class to complete the administrative details like who is the monitors so on.
The following days were fun as there were not many lessons because many teachers were going to the secondary one orientation camp. I remembered the day when I went to the camp last year. I spent that day getting myself used to the new classroom.
I hope that this year would be a fruitful year as this year is very important. I really wish that all would go well for me. Well, thats all and i wish everyone a happy new year.
